Meet The Team

Sarah
I am a qualified Nurse and Lifestyle and Nutrition Coach with a passion in supporting people to maintain a healthy life, particularly those who, like me are enjoying the midlife years and beyond. I am married to Mike with three stepchildren and two dogs. We live in Sheffield, 8 miles away from the beautiful Peak District and we make time to get out there several times a week to walk the dogs and just admire the beauty that we are so fortunate to have close by. Life is busy and fun, but when we reach midlife, the importance of nutrition and maintaining good health is ever more critical than it might have been before.
Baggy
Baggy is an elderly black Labrador and is known as “The Boss” as he meanders into the kitchen whenever a cupboard door is open. He is the Retired Senior Consultant in the team, with an abundance of patience, tolerance and love. He has a very simple philosophy about nutrition, which is that if he comes across anything remotely edible, he should eat it before anyone else can! He is a wise old dog, with a “wonky” front leg due to his arthritis, but still loves cuddles, drooling, sitting very close beside you when you eat food, and no walk is ever fun without a ball nearby!

Ernie
Ernie is a golden Double Doodle known affectionately as “Monster” and is the Trainee Registrar in the team, with a zest for life that we can all learn from. Ernie takes Baggy’ s philosophy for nutrition one step further and will surf counter tops, as well anywhere else he can access, which has included expensive boxes of chocolates, pan scourers, and raw eggs (box included). He is very sociable, bouncy and loves playing with Baggy. He likes nothing more than sitting beside you on the sofa, creating a very welcome 40 tog duvet effect in the winter and a not such welcome warmth in the summer!
Mike
Mike is my husband, who has been the wind beneath my wings in making the vision of Serenity, Health & Wellbeing a reality. He is the Pastoral Care member of the team, making sure each day runs relatively smoothly, so that the other members of the team are fed on time, with plenty of toilet breaks and stretching of legs at regular intervals. All members of the team share the same philosophy in life, which is a love of good food, lots of exercise and a fun approach!
